FATHER TUCKER The Very Reverend J. Francis Tucker is the first American Oblate and our former Retreat Master. He is now stationed at Monte Carlo, Monaco. During his visit to North last year he provided us with an interesting picture of Oblate life. Al- though many miles away, Father's interest is felt by all. ' FATHER KNEBELS Father Lawrence Knebels may be readily recognized by his ever present gentleness of manner. His affability is unimpaired by the dual responsibility which he bears. The abil- ity of Father Knebels as a Religious Superior is well known to seventy faculty members and his prowess as a Mathematics instructor is well-known to us. We are indeed fortunate to have had him for a teacher. FATHER BUCKLEY The Very Reverend William D. Buckley is the Provincial of the Oblate teachers in America. A former teacher at North, Father Buckley directs the activities of the American Oblates from Wilmington. A true follower of St. Francis De Sales, his visits are always welcome at North. i FATHER WARD Father William Ward is the Superior of De Sales House, where twenty-three members of the faculty reside. He is also a teacher of Religion. Father Ward's administrative abil- ity and teaching talent have distinguished him. However, he is more endeared to us because of his friendly understanding, a quality by which he has practiced the good example of our patron, St. Francis De Sales. -

FATHER BALDUCELLI The Very Reverend Dominic Balducelli is the Superior General of all the Oblates throughout the world. He paid us a visit on November 6, as part of a world tour of Oblate Provinces. ln his address to us he praised the fine Catholic spirit at North. Father Balducelli also im- parted the Apostolic Blessing on the faculty and the students on behalf of our Holy Father. We shall cherish the memory of his grand visit. The 0blm'es of Sf.
