3111 illivmnriam On Friday, the 22nd day of November, 1963, the 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. D President Kennedy was enroute to a speaking engagement when the untimely and unnecessary shots were fired. The President was pronounced -dead at Dallas' Parkland Me- morial Hospital at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. I We of the Armed Services can pay no more fitting tribute to the memory of President Kennedy than to carry on in the tradition which he shared and of which he was so proud. In memoriam, the 1962-1963 NORTHAMPTON Yearbook is dedicated to the late Commander-in-chief who sacrificed his life in searching for peace and prosperity for his nation. May America never forget the courage he showed in the pursuit of his ideals!!
