During the next four years life was filled to the brim with a h' l ' d w ir win of ideas and events. And now the Class of '53 is the Class of '57, and one period of tim . . . . e is over giving way to the next. Preparations are underway for the journey into a new world. For most it will be college or a job. However, as the year ends in a final burst of feverish activ't ' l . 1 y, it wou Cl be well to give a final thought to our high school before the time comes for the pro- verbial parting of the ways. It would be foolish to think that anyone's thoughts will alwa s be 'n th y 1 ese hallowed halls. But neither have the four years spent here been meaningless Each rad ' ' ' ' ' ' g uating senior has some memory that he will take with him and keep throughout his life. It may be a certain class or a teacher, or a club or extra-cur- ricular activity in which he participated a special award a football 1 game or a 3 7 formal danceg but whatever it may be, it is what North High means to each of us and it is the thing that, in the years to come. will rekindle the memories of high school days. We would like to feel that in some wav this class has left its mark N h on ort Highg that in some way we have distinguished ourselves from other graduating classes in the minds of the faculty and our fellow schoolmates.
