Generosity is supposed to be characteristic of Westerners and the Service Chairmen help to prove its truth by giving time and Work prodding their homerooms into doing Worth- while projects. One student out of each homeroom is chosen to serve as a service chairman to select a project for the class to Work on during the semester and to see that it is carried out. Many homerooms have made Writing port-folios, craft Wagons, ash stands, folding bed trays and other things. The National lunior Red Cross has asked North Phoenix High School to supply certain necessary articles for the needy. The home rooms have done an excellent job in this. Good fellowship is the aim of the Boys' Alliance, and its activities point toward making the school more friendly, a place Where the old six-shooter may be thrown on the table per- manently. The Honor Court is made up of a group of reliable students elected the previous year for these duties. They strive to uphold the standard of our school by dealing with the students who are accused of breaking laws of school conduct. This group is composed of six judges, of which three are seniors, two are juniors, and one a sophomore, with a bailiff and secre- tary who receive the offices by appointment. The Honor Committee is a committee made up of members of the executive committee and the honor court to try to find the causes and remedies of student body problems. Their work is invaluable to the school, because through their relations with students and teachers, they are able to analyze the problems. HONOR COURT: left to right: Holderby, Mc- Carty.
