Cabinet and general faculty meetings, called whenever the need arose, pers mitted a democratic discussion and solution of common problems. Excellent opportunities await those that wish to avail themselves of a practical and useful knowledge of math that will be invaluable in .later years. To be able to operate many of our implements of war, a working idea of mathematics is essential. In almost every walk of life, mathematics is used to some degree. Fortunate indeed is the person that by the use of formulae and num- bers is able to find the answer to his problems, however large or small.
