UN TUUR There's an aspect of community that one can't understand until he's been on a tour. For a week or two or nine, you and a bus- load of musicians are in a world of your own. This year, the Choir hit New England, the Wind Ensemble saw the Midwest, the Glee Clubs travelled among the Great Lakes, and Gospel Teams sang just about everywhere be- tween Pennsylvania and California. s . For your general entertainment iwith a solid G ratingl there were plenty of things to drag you from the books. ln the fall, the Wordmasters, from Georgetown, Kentucky, gave a powerful and at times electrifying performance of some of T.S. Eliot's poetry. Come Val- entine's Day, R.W.C. presented the cool and easy jazz of Lee Burswold's trio. They came back to do Summertime as an encore. Once again, the B.S.A. took up the task of bring- ing quality entertainment to campus. The Victory Community Choir provided an evening of very hot gospel music. Oh Happy Day! And at the resurrection of Spring Carnival, bigger and better than ever, the maze fell down, and a good time was had by all. J' si? ? ' me Hi, if , 'I . l at . 1 1 fl! . ,' fs ff v .
