AlThough They didn'T win The championship as They did The previous year. The hoopsTers did puT on a good TighT Trying To reTain Their crown. The TighTing Vikings dropped Three oT Their TirsT Tive games buT came back wiTh an impressive Tour game winning sTreak. They were never really in conTenTion Tor Top honor Though, Tor LuTher NorTh remained undeTeaTed while clinching The PSL cham- ions I . P Thle Vikings were a well rounded Team wiTh-Sandgren under The baskeT and Polen- der, Blair, Amundsen, and Franks hiTTing Trom ouTside. Polender was a big asseT To The Team, buT was greaTl missed aTTer he had used up his years oT eligibiliTy aT mid- Term. Much crediT shouldlbe given To The whole Team Tor excellenT compeTiTive spiriT. The PSL TournamenT Tound The Vikings wiTh a good chance To go all The way. buT aTTer beaTing Elgin 75-33, NorTh Shore.
