Student council representatives are elected at the beginning of the school year in each homeroom. These representatives take to the student council meetings the ideas and problems of the student body. It is also their job to bring all matters decided upon at the meetings to the attention of the members of their particular homeroom. The 1957-58 student council has proven that by working together they could solve problems and organize ftmctions for the benefit of the school. Some of the highlights of the year's student council have been: The Bill Randle Assembly, the new ping-pong table, purchased, run, and taken care of by the student council, and the noon-time dances run and sponsored by the coun- cil. 5.
