A large number turned out for the sport. To quote coach Walt Aldridge: We have a new brand of foot powder this year which will cure everything except webbed feet. Unquotel Considering the fact that there'were only six boys out for crossfcountry, they made a very good showing. All the North Marion team did very well and continued their good work in the state tournament. More boys are urged to go out for this sport next year. Mr. Beal Cross Country Coach
