Now they are approaching the climax of this period of their lives and the finale of their high school days. Because the class of 1954 got its start in the first year of North Marion's existence, because many of the ideas which have become traditions of our school originated with this classg because they have been star performers in the pageant of North Marion, and have helped the school complete its first four years suc- cessfully, we dedicate this 1954 Husky to the Senior Class--the Class of 1954. The Junior Class during the school year of 1953 54 has been very busy, with much of their activity pointing toward those two big events, the Junior Senior banquet and the Junior Senior prom These two occasions, always among the students' fondest memories, call for much talent and initia tive, as well as plain hard work In preparation for then, various money making activities are pla nned and the Juniors this year have sold memory books, to the students, and have had candy, oop corn and pop concessions at games The Juniors always look forward to their class play, which is presented not only for fin ancial reasons, but for fun This ear the class chose UAunt Sally from Cherry Valley Three very successful performances were given at Aurora, Hubbard, and McLaren's Boys School Under tke able leaders e of Janice Smitt, this year's Junior Class has earned a repltation for tackling a job and getting it done lhey have successfully gone through the dress rehearsal for the performance w ich will be expected of t em as Seniors during tke 195a Q5 school year 0 e 2 .
