The starting pitchers for this year are Bob Diller, Bill McLaren, and Ron Barendse, while the top catcher looks Bke Bob Fyock. In general the boys have a lot of drive and hustle. According to coach Don Reed the North Marion ball team will be a strong threat for the title.

Basketball BOTTOM ROW: L to R: Wayne Van Lieu, Mike Ensign, Larry Cole, Keith Driver, Dan McLeod, Bob Fyock. 2ND ROW: Mr. Ellmers, coachg George Sanders, Keith Hoefling, Dale Calla way, Merlin Kliewer, Jim Albers, Howard Wenzel. Under the direction of Coach Hal Ellmers,the B-squad bas- ketball team ended the season in a tie for third place, after winning 9 games and losing 5 in actual league play. They were defeated in all pre-season games. ' The team is composed entirely of Freshmen and Sophomore boys. The seasons top scorers are listed as Larry Cole, 1913 Keith Driver, 1215 George Sanders, 1173 Bob Fyock, 106, and Merlin Kliewer with 72 points. Mike Burns was the manager throughout the season and Gene Hastie was the official score-keeper for both the Varsity and B-squad teams.
