Other meets in which the Husky squad partici- pated were: Oct. 19 A five way meet between Jefferson, Salem, Molalla, Corvallis, and North Marion. Oct. 26 A dual meet between Molalla and Nbrth Marion. Nov. 1 A six way meet between Springfield, Molalla, Salem, Jefferson, Albany and North Marion. Nov. 7 A dual meet between Jefferson and North Marion. Nov. 9 A dual meet between Molalla and North Marion. Nov. 18 State Meet. Fou cross country letters were awarded. Boys receiving these awards were: Merlin Kliewer, Bill McNary, Galen Pearson, John Davies and Keith McNary.

Prospects look goodfbr a very successful season next fall with the loss of only two lettermen, Anthony Medearis, and A1 Bekebrede, through graduation. Inexperlence played an important part in this year's record, and the lack of height gave the team considerable disadvantage, but we of North Marion feel the season was more than successful with a record of nine games won and twelve games lost. In the District ll tournament the Huskies scored an upset victory over Sacred Heart Academy of Salem and dropped games'uJSllverton and Staytmu Returning next year will be all but two mem- bers of this year's squad, Al Bekebrede, and Jerry Jeskey.
