The advanced band has had a continuous and constant growth both in musicianship and number this year.It started with 12 members and increased to twenty-five. Activities of the advanced band have included performances for P. T. A. meetings, volunteer firemen's conventions, Senator Morris, basketball games, grade and high school concerts, and other activities. The beginning band has shown a constant im- provement this year. Activities of the girls chorus for the past year have included trips to Butteville,Broadacres, and Donald grade schoo1sf'orthe purpose of putting on concerts. The chorus also sang at numerous school events such as open-house, the Christmas concert, and the spring concert. Officers of the chorus included: Librarians, Rita Sabin and Evelyn Taylor, President, Lillian Bronecgvice Pres., Thelma Loop, Secretary,Margaret Mendenhe11gTreasurer, Carol Baker. Marlene Driever was accompanist for the chorus. The boys chorus was formed in February. Per- formances of the boys chorus came later on in the spring.
