Sophomores Sophomore Officers L. to R. Robin Berkey, Ken Hooley LaDonna Sather, Nancy Schuler. Missing: Jack Rasmussen. The sophomore class began the 1950-51 year with 14 boys and 26 girls ini eir class. They chose Ken Hooley to be president of the class, Jack Rasmussen, vice presidentg Nancy Schuler, secretaryg Robin Berkey, treasurergand LaDonna Sather, student council representative. The first activity sponsored by the sophomore class was the Sadie Hawkins Day party held on November 18. They also spon- sored a Valentine Dance on February 14. Both dances were a big success. The class sold pop at a game to boost their treasury.

Freshmen FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS L. to R. 1ST ROW: Bob Beal, Bonnie Hath- away, Carl Van Lieu. ZND ROW: Merle McLaren, Loren Dew. The freshman class of 1951 was initiated on October 6 by the seniors. It was decided that a 'welcome' rather than a rough and tough initiation should be held. The seniors held a welcome dance on U16 night of the initiation. The freshman started off with fifty- five members in their class, 30 boys and 25 girls. They elected Bob Beal, Presidenq Carl Van Lieu, Vice-Presidentg Merle McLaren Treasurerg Loren Dew, Sergeant at armsg and Bonnie Hathaway, Secretary. On January 17, the freshmen held a bas- ket social for the whole school. They also sold pop and hot dogs at games.
