ln memory of their beloved classmate,
Iohn Hilliard, the members of the Student
Body established the Iohn Hilliard Memorial
Award, to be given each year to the out-
standing athlete of Senior High.
Since Iohn was voted the outstanding play-
er in the Greater Little Rock area during his
last year at Iunior High, and later became a
valuable player on the team at Senior High,
it was deemed only fitting that this award
should go to the school's most outstanding
athlete.
So departed "Little johnny"
Hilliard, - our beloved,
Ere the glory of the sunrise,
In the pui ple mists of morning
To the regions of the home-wind,
To the Islands of the Blessed,
To the land of the Hereafter!
