X, PA,,, FUREWORD When Neil Armstrong set his booted foot on the moon's dusty surface, man's viewpoint of his world changed decisively. No longer was he limit ed to viewing the moon from earth. Now man, through awesome techno- logical advances, could stand on the moon and gaze upon Earth. North Kitsap High School is a contributing part of this change through the space flights of Astronaut Richard Gordon, an NK graduate. Students became explorers too, combining fresh ideas with established ones to produce different concepts in all phases of school life. While viewpoints of students changed, so did the entire physical structure of the campus as it prepared for its transition to a four-year school.
