Musical Groups: Top Performers In School The music classes were North's most productive extra- curricular activity, The biggest thrill for majorettes fly Kris Ryan, Judi Valley, Lora Christiansen, Rhonda Olsen, Leanne Lindahl and drum majorette Molly Epperson was the parade in honor of Astronauts Gordon, Conrad and Bean. North's band, guided by drum major Jim Richards 123, led the parade through downtown Seattle. Concerts, parades, contests, candy sale - all kept mu- sicians hustling all year. New activity for the Music De- partment was a 20-girl Drill Team which started practice in February, At the same time the classes were rehearsing for the musical Maine, they were also preparing for two band groups and larger classes when North becomes a four year high school in September, Band members in Q33--FRONT ROW: Konni Hoover, 1 b, X.
