During that day the girls carried the boys' books but only if they had bought a "Lug Day" tag. Thursday was "No Speak To Girls Day", when no girl could talk to another girl. If that rare occurence ever happened, the girl talking would be . permitted toweara sack over her head. Friday climaxed Tolo Daze with an assembly in the afternoon and a dance that evening. In January we had the beauty Operators from Maxine's Beauty Salon come and give a demonstration of the newest hair styles and give us advice on hair problems February was the month in which Miss Wade showed us her pictures of her travels in Europe and we had interesting discussion of the travels A representative from Katheleen Peck Studios spoke to us on charm March In April the cabinet and next year s officers attended a conference at Port PRESIDENT Sue Davids on Orchard May was full of the preparation for the Mothers and Daughters tea The Girls Club had two big money making pro1ects this year The first of which was Tolo the second was the selling of tickets for a swimming suit PRESIDENT Sue Davidson VICE PRESIDENT Beth Wyngarden SECRETARY Ruth Eide TREASURER Marta Holman SENIOR REPRESENTATIVE Judi Harrison JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE First Semester Sandra Myhre Second Semester Joy Portman SOPHOMORE REPRESENTATIVE Doreen Finseth HONORARY ADVISOR Ellen Waali ADVISOR Miss Vera Mc Dowell Y Beth Wyngarden Marta Holman Standlng Judy Harrison Sandra Myhre Doreen Finseth Ellen Waali Not Pictured 1S Joy Portman rvv V WMM!!! gi Q . . a ' ' in . . , - . . , 1 l I . - . -I - . - ' ' H A I ?
