AN ARTISTIC FLAIR Meg loves her work. The Advanced Placement Art program led by Mrs. Foley, covered a wide range of artistic skills and styles this year. The fourteen enrolled students studied aerial perspective, cubism, and improvisation. Assignments were designed to challenge the imagination and still provide opportunity to learn compositional rules. Students were evaluated through class critiques and were encouraged to grade their own work. Besides earning college credit, the students also gained a deeper knowledge of the subject which often led to a career choice as well as a chance to participate in the Rhode Island and National Scholastic Art Awards Competition.
