More than a job l at Alma ater Mr. Bob Hiatt took over the position of assistant principal in charge of discipline and attendance after Mr. Francis Galbraith retired last year. When asked why he decided to take the job, Mr. Hiatt replied that he wanted the challenge that being an administrator represented. He also had the inspiration to be an administrator after he began teaching. He had another important reason to take this position, because Mr. Hiatt graduated from Northtown in 1969. Mr. Hiatt believes that everyone should have a chance to prove themselves. Communication and being accountable for one's actions are just part of Mr. Hiatt's philosophy. I feel that everyone has a good side to them rather than just a bad side. Above right: Talking with concerned parents is one aspect of Mr. Hiatt's iob. Center: Dr. Howe and Mr. Hiatt await the beginning of a girls' basketball game. Below right Mrs. Octavia Donahue is one of two secretaries in the attendance office.
