Carbons, Court Credits 'WW :K. '..3- Any student who took a business course this year encountered many fresh ideas. Northtown 's business law classes went to the Clay County Circuit Court and on Held trips to equally exciting places. Some who took business law staged a mock trial and took their own case to court. In typing, students learned how to type without watching their fingers, even at impressive speeds. The classes also used the typewriter in a rhythmic method and typed to music. Shorthand classes took dictation at rapid speeds to enhance their job possibilities upon graduation. The accounting classes worked on balance sheets and income statements. They also became involved in business simulation projects both on an individual and a group basis. All of these subjects and others were designed to beneHt the student, now and in the future.
