The Senior supports Our Towri On the evening of February 28,1976,th9 North KEHWSHS City Drama Department presented Thornton Wilder! Pulitzer Prize winning play, Our Town. The play stressed the importance of everyday life-not only the simple tasks that are carried out from day to day, but the value of the smallest events in daily life. Our Town represents an innovation in theater in that no scenery is used. Wilder once said of the play: ln the first two acts there are at least a few chairs and tables, but when Emily revisits the earth and the kitchen to which she descended on her twelfth birthday, the very chairs and tables are gone.
