Some worked towards building a Hrm base for future vocations. Others explored areas of special interests while developing general skills and knowledge in practical arts. Modern power tools and precision instruments called for a steady hand and total alertness. The results were products for the home, pure artistic and constructive items, and more knowledgeable students of practical arts.
