Whether we liked what we saw in the reflections of the water or not, the images will remain. We cant relive the songs we didnlt sing, or the dreams we didn't dream, or the loves we didn't love. There is always the IF I had known what trouble you were bearing or what griefs that were hidden in your face. then I would have been more gentle and more caring. IF I had known. If I had known what thoughts were depressing to you, then I would have lent a little friendship to you and slipped my hand within your hand and made your stay at NKC more fulfilling. IF I had known. Although these reflections aren't to be captured in a photograph or a phrase, the tension is still there. Nevertheless, the-PURGOLD staff wishes to capture for the student body some of the priceless memories in which we, as the student body, pulled together as one. One in which we relived the songs we sang and the dreams we dreamed and the loves we lovedeebut for a moment during the 1969-70 school year.
