Edmonds, Virgil Bowers. .fdclminififra fion I As the area in and around North Kansas City expands, the duties and problems facing the North Kansas City Board of Education become more complex. The year 1951-52 marked the opening of the addition to Norclay School and the closing of Harlem School. The Board of Education sets the policies and employs personnel for the fast-growing school district, Mr. H. W. Schooling Superintendentof Schools, i Mr. H. W. Schooling holds the title of Superintendent of North Kansas City Schools, and is chief administrator. The schools have progressed steadily under his capable leader- ship. His active participation in community affairs is evidenced by his election to the presidency of The Chamber of Commerce last fall. ow'- Xe:
