Sitting beside the warm fire on this cold winter evening are the Perrys-Geraldine, Larry, and the little ones fCOCKCfSl. Larry has replaced Carter as the world's largest manufacturer of pills. Let's watch with them as they turn on the T.V. set to watch the program sponsored by Perry's Priceless Pink Pills. We now see the Show of Shows, written and produced by Kibby Standing and Gary Brown. Introduc- ing their guest stars are George Sid Caesar DeHaven and Lou Ann Imogene Coca Mitchell. But, as usual, in all shows, we must be interrupted with a bit of advertising. Spotted on the screen is the pill box dance team. If Geraldine and Larry could see inside, they would dis- cover their friends, Marilyn Mack and Dorothy Loar. The first guest of the evening is Don Mayo the Great, playing his world renowned accordion. As he be- gins playing Lady of Spain, we see in the background the former Ziegfeld Follies recently taken over by Gil- bert Divelbiss. The cameras turn to the audience where we spot the famous baseball pitcher who has won his tenth World Series game. None other than Harold Sebastian Klein. Wait, hold the cameras, another celebrity in the crowd! In the far corner behind her opera glasses, dressed fit to kill, we see Rebekah Gannon, the first lady president of Harvard.University. Now that the stage setting is arranged for our next act, the camera falls Cbangl on our delightful Fred- die Flack Ballet Beauties. CMy, that's a shame, l hope that heavy camera didn't smash themj. With the idea that The Show Must Go On , these eight beauties, Lou jones, Barbara Snowden, Rosemary Allen, Barbara Brand, Carol DeLapp, Nadine Hensley, Pat McNaughton, and Shirley Pancake proceed with their dancing. You might know, technical difficulties. What could the cause be? Oh Oh! There's mighty Magician Spencer Stoner, getting anxious to perform. His tricks seem to be interfering with the camera. No show would be complete without the giving away or prizes. CDeductible for income tax!!J The Richard Anderson-Pat Thompson Publishing Company ran a big article in their magazine, TV Stars of '52 on Show of Shows. To express their appreciation, the show is having joan Fox, professional Powers' Model, to present to Mr. Anderson a Ramona Kimono , CRamona Lewis, that isb. The Ramona Kimono Factory is doing very well. The next performer on our show is Miss Susan Knox, the cosmopolitan opera star, singing l'm a Big Girl Now. Speaking of people growing up, look at big boy Howard Mischlich sitting in the front row. My, look at all the girls surrounding him. Girl friends? No, that's his daily swimming class. They meet every night at 9 o'clock. For Swimming?? As Larry turns to another station to watch the famous Harlem Globe Trotters, who should they see but Don Hamilton, first pale-face ever to play on the team. HMMmmmmm! You think that's unusual, if you look closely, who should be the other guard but Carol Silvernail, first woman of any color ever to play on the team. After the game, the sports announcer, Bob Edmonds, has as his guests the coach of the Los Angeles Rams Forrest Wills, and his star player, Don Cowden, who explains his world-famous sleeper play. Aw shucks! Let's turn back to Show or Shows before it ends. Good! just in time to see Irma Donnie Eaton Peterson in her famous role of the dumb blonde. After an evening of reminiscing, Geraldine decides it's time to put the little ones fCockers, that ish to bed, as she remarks, Gosh, Larry, our class of '52 really has gone places, hasn't it? enior Cfaad prop ecy Time-january 17, 1962, 7:30 p.m. a C ongratulatrons and very best wishes for your future Rus Pau Wafer C 'l'l9 Armour Road North Kansas Cnty Norcloy 4864 DODGE PLYMOUTH Sales and Servrce C0mPIrmentsof COOPER CLEANERS Ol-'VER TURPEN And Launderers H E Gordon Propruetor 2008 swf' N0'C 'Y 4423 zols swff Avenue N0 4662 North Kansas Cnty Mussourr N h K C M Off CIISCS lfy O BEN BOLT BARBER SHOP Russell O Neo!
