In- cluded in the curriculum of this department is an on-the-job training program to allow the stu- dent actual, supervised business experience. This service includes educational, vocational, and personal counseling. Students or adults may come on their own initia- tive, or they may be referred by teachers or other staff members. The counselors cooperate and coordinate their efforts with the following community agencies: the Employment Security Commission, Vocational Rehabilitation, and the North Iowa Mental Health Center.
