EDNA M. EVANS P D to t- 1 jf A t f. J L DEDICATIUN Since the beginning of time, stars have served to guide and inspire us. One of the most brilliant stars in our North Hollywood High School Universe is reaching the culmination of a great career. It is with si-ncere feelings of respect and admiration that We prepare to wish Mrs. Edna Evans success and happiness upon the occasion of her retirement, For years she has been the inspiration of other students, just as she has been to all of us. Though future classes will be deprived of her Warm friendliness, Mrs. Evans' constructive influence will remain a permanent part of our school. f it Q ,fi,,,,,f 'tiff wt ..y,L,,a Afi,1! This cooperation has brought about an excellent relationship that in turn has made this year a most successful one. As you turn the pages of the El Camino, let your memory ao back and review the many accomplish- ments that you helped to achieve. We can point with pride to the splendid record made by hundreds of our students, to the very fine leader- ship that was demonstrated by our student councils, student courts, and senior classes--to the outstand- ing records compiled by our athletic teams and the enthusiastic support given to our teams by the stu- dent body and finally to the serious loyalty all Huskies have for their Alma Mater. For all of these things we are grateful and thankful. May we continue to have this cooperation so that the good accomplishments of North Hollywood High School shall always be cause tor great pride. This is truly one of the brightest spots in the world. NORMAN B. His route is determined by the classes he takes. We, in the Counselors Office, are his guides on this trip. Our main concern is with the adjustment of young people. We try to accomplish this by guiding them through a study program that will stimulate their interests and make the best use of their own personal assets. We hope that our efforts to counsel young people assist them in achieving wise self-guidance and a happy, well-adjusted adulthood. ETHEL LUDWICK COUN ELOR MR. BURTON MQCDOUGALL MR. Some of these are: liberty and justice for all, the greatest good to the greatest number, gen- eral welfare before individual profit, and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. These truths apply around the World. Cooperative par- ticipation by students, faculty, and administration through the use of school courts seems to be an in- dispensable part of a genuine democracy. This coop- eration is essential in planning the life of a school Community. A. F.
