One show high- lighted a top-flight men's chorus from Glendale College, another featured the Basin Street rhythms of Jefferson High School's rollicking swing band. This year, also, the Spring Council pre- sented an amended school constitution to the seudents. The revised document was reiected by popular vote, however. All in all both of this years Councils deserve A for Accomplishment. ,W ww, f, 4 Here at N.H.H.S. the student body ex- presses its will through the Student Council. Our council consists of the various student body officers, including the President Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and an as- sortment of commissioners. New members are elected each semester. This year both the Fall and Spring coun- cils worked vigorously to arrange a lively program of extra-cirricular activities. They cooked up several informal dances, not forgetting to put on the 1951 version of the traditional Sadie Hawkins romp. As usual, on this occasion, it was the boys who had to wait to be asked. Another big evenings credited to the Council: A friend- ship Dance lcomplete with Mr. Howdyl.
