STAFF The R.O'.T.C. has really done itself proud in the last three se- mesters and has reason to expect even greater results in the future. It 'has shown this in more ways than one. An example of this is the Honor School award bestowed by General Mark Clark of 6th Army Headquarters. This made the student body very proud of its unit, and the unit proud of itself. Since the unit's beginning a year and a half ago, a tremendous amount of progress has been made in everything undertaken. Most prominent, however, is the precision of the unit as a whole. One activity of the R.O.T.C. that rates high with the cadets is the ever-popular sem-annual military ball. This occasion is always quite festive, and this semester,s was no exception to the rule. The R.O.T.C. trains the cadet in leadershi , militar courtes , and P Y Y discipline, three of the most important characteristics to be built up in a cadet.
