4 lCQ I'M'lClpCl S interesting era in the development of our country. Some people look back upon that period as the bicycle, or horse-and-buggy da before the construction of good roads and the manufacture of autom biles. As I leafed through the pages I found myself singing with Nina, thrilling again at the sight of our Hrst touchdown. feeling proud as I saw our band parading down the Held. An array of people and events passed before my eyes - student body presidents, Ephebians, athletes, a bevy of girls and boys enjoying their clubs, banquets, proms, and graduations. All of them were boys and girls who have brought to this school their contributions, forming a chain to which you and those following you may add your link. We are a small unit in a large country, a single link in a mighty chain. May our link be strong in helping our Nation to fulfill her des- tiny. FLORENCE J. SEAMAN, Girls' Vice-Principal. IRL C.
