This years Varsity team had a great year. After a dismal showing against Fountain Val- ley in their opener, they took on a tough Lakewood team and defeated them. A team that only averaged 5'9 in Bay League until they met Santa Monica, North took a beat- ing 20-6. But showing they weren't down they beat West 42-27 and then Centennial 45-6 in a rain drenched game. They had to face a tough, highly rated Long Beach Milli- kan team in the first round of C.l.F. and de- feated them. North 'then took on Anaheim but lost a tough game 7-0. g
