C, ican Redheads Basketball Game was held in March of 1974. A sparse crowd came to view what had been deemed the battle of the sexes. At the start of the game, the coaches appeared somewhat embarrassed to be en- gaged in a contact sport with members of the opposite sex. The Redheads started the game with a light-hearted southern attitude. Their somewhat humorous antics disap- peared along with the coaches' embarrass- ment as the game approached the end. Per- haps the surprise of the evening came when the coaches pulled off a 89-88 victory. A game of twister??? Why don't you come over and see me sometime!
