K.N.H.S. was the voice of North High. It was a non-commercial, student operated FM station which had the distinction of being one of the few in the country. In addition to regular daily broadcasting, K.N.H.S. also provided coverage of North High football. basketball, and baseball games. Music to eat lunch by was another one of the many services that K.N.H.S. supplied for the students at North. The station was under the guidance of Mr. Reynolds. NHS Lets the Good Times Roll K.N.H.S.: Standing, Richard jew, Ted DeLuca, Kim Marholz, Howard Dube, Frank Arteaga, Mike Stock- housen, Bob Wilson. Sitting, David Bell, Larry McCloskey, Keith Vars, Alan Matza, jeff Barthel, lerry Snowball. Ann listens to the vibes from David Rayor. David Rayor tunes up the tunes for 74 .

Chemists Are Looking Forward to a Bright Future fi in if CHEMISTRY CLUB: Row 1, Tracy Shinmoto, Carolyn Nambu, Valerie lsoda, Priscilla Sun, Mary Anne Um- ekubo, Nani lmura, Diane Awane, Cheryl Okada, Phyllis Ohmoto, Geri Aoki, Karen Kobayashi, Karen Nishihira. Row 2, Janis Nakashima, Marlene Rhodes, Shirley Takigawa, Mark Hughes, Mark Takeyama, Mary Nishimoto, Ray Kaestner, loan Eguchi, Valerie Apana, loan Kamei, Marcia Togioka, Edward Iwa- saka. To most, chemistry was a subject one took and was glad to be done with, but for the small minority of students who had a greater in- terest in it there was the Chemis- try Club. To expand their knowl- edge in the uses of chemistry the club planned field trips to Pitts- burgh Paints, and Douglas Air- crafts. The sponsor was Mr. C-allo. Math Club Explores the World of Real umbers MATH CLUB: Row 1, Sylvia Tetreault, Richard Worlitz, Mrs. Quinn, Randy Smith, Doreen Olson, Row 2, Mark Mclntyre, lulius Chastain, Doris johnson, lon Kunsch, Tom Hillman. The Math club provided mem- bers with an opportunity to apply math in new and different ways. They visited many math orientat- ed companys which enhanced their knowledge and interests. The club was sponsered by Mrs. Quinn.

K OR Films the Sights Lights! Camera! Action! K.N.O.R. Club was sponsored by Mr. Koehring. During the year the mem- bers acquired the skills and the knowl- edge needed to operate the equip- ment in film production. The club made trips to the local T.V. stations which proved to be fulfilling. if , l love you, ya, ya, ya! K.N.O.R.
