W ,,,. -:arm e.. Even the all-leaguers miss once in a while. The 1974 junior Varsity Baseball Team hoped to continue the streak of Bay League Titles made by the previous l.V. teams. Last year's team won, for the first time, the South Bay j.V. Championship, and this year's team would like to continue this success. Coach Bill Cunerty feels that this year's team will have strong pitch- ing, led by Larry Kuhn and Vince Paldino, and fine hitters, led by Corky Wyrick, to win many games. Coach Steve Sch mitz North High's Frosh-Soph baseball team hopes to con- tinue North's winning ways by winning the Bay League this year at deadline time. Coach Schmitz felt the team was really shaping up. He felt they had the necessary combination of good pitching and solid hitting for a winning team. Coach Schmitz explains to his rookies that their little league days are over.
