' Here I am. boys Class of Seventy-Six Out of the world of eighth grade and into a new one of awareness, discipline, and discovery. A lot of Who are you? and Where am I? confusion, frustration, and sometimes fear. These small timid faces were those of the class of ' 76-the Freshmen. Yet, as time passed, freshmen settled into the Saxon way of life. Participating in student government, spon- soring fund raising activities, experiencing the tense excitement of their 1st football game, sighing with far- off hopes while watching the pep squad and drill team — this was just the beginning of four years of hopes, dreams, good and bad times.
