ff Never a Mrs. Julie Barck Attendance The life of a North High secretary was certainly never a boring one. With such duties as assisting the counselors, running the attendance office, and completing the mind boggling mountain of paper work that is so necessary for an efficiently running school, every moment was a busy one. Although Mrs. Hakanson stated We would like to do as little as possible , such was not the case. In addition to administrative duties, all of the secre- taries enjoyed working with the students. Asked to comment of future goals, the main plan was for retirement . But what would North High do with out them? As it stood, the only real goal of each of these ladies was to help NHS to the best of her ability. The job of the service staff is more complicated than most students realize. Mamtamence of North ' s many classrooms and readying the facilities for student activities were major tasks. The job of the cafeteria workers was more well known. Certa every student has found himself in the never ending line for peanut butter cookies.
