Vocal Groups Serenade Saxons Under the direction of Mr. Daniel Walker. North High ' s Vocal Groups perform to entertain and also to represent the school at various activities and functions. This year the choir, chorale, girls ' glee and mixed choruses took part in about 28 activities throughout the year. These included ladies ' clubs and elementary school PTA ' s. civic organizations, and a few competitions. Back at NHS. these talented Saxons worked hard to present the annual Christmas concert, a spring concert, and their own version of the musical Paint Your Wagon . Chorale: Hal Morrett. Rick Davis. The Biggest Club on Campus The Girls Athletic Association has been the biggest club on campus for years with Miss Marge Fulton as sponsor. They have over 300 members. They are one of the most active clubs on campus too. They partici- pate in activities such as volleyball, basketball, soft- ball and co-ed bowling. Girls on winning teams at- tended sports playdays, where they competed against other schools for top honors. G.A.A. sponsors a dance each year besides all the sports activities. This year the dance was in April, and was a great success. In May an awards banquet was held to honor outstanding participants. G.A.A. Coed Bowling: SEATED-Ron Shimizu.
