A double role as Dona Lucia dAlvadorez and Fancourt Babs Babberly was hu- morously portrayed by Jack Sparber. Babs is put in a curious predicament by his two Oxford classmates, Jack Chesney and Charley Wykeham, when he impersonates Dona Lucia d'Alvadorez. The fake aunt is to serve as chaperone, so that Jack and Charley can have their chat with Kitty and Amy. More problems arise when Mr. Spettigue refuses to let his niece and ward, Amy and Kitty, marry anyone, and he himself wants to marry Charley's aunt for her money. Matters reach a peak of complication when the real aunt appears suddenly with her ward, Ella Dellahay, who iust happens to be Babberly's long lost love.
