JUDHHAL BOARD Seated: Ellsworth Lory, Nancy Newbiggin, Jane North, Bill Dulfy, Barbara Hankins, Barbara Oliver. Standing: Lanny Patten, Charles Hayes. STUDENT COUNCIL Just as the nucleus is the heart of the atom so is the student council the nucleus of North High. It is composed of carefully chosen individuals who dedicate themselves and their services to the needs of the Whole student body, thus working together along with the faculty for sound, practi- cal North High betterment. THE MESON+an atomic particle important in holding together the neutrons and protons of the atomic nucleus. Undoubtedly it 'acementsw the nucleus together. The Executive Board, com- posed of Student Council president, vice president, secretary, assistant secretary, and treasurer, acts as a MESON in cementing together the NUCLEUS or Student Council! The outstanding reason why the NEUTRON is important is because it provides a bombarding bullet incomparably more powerful than any other projectiles for penetrating the nucleus. Such is the importance of the Judicial Board-the law enforcing backbone of our NUCLEUS-the Student Council of North High! ' 1231
