February 3 Names of all prospective Iune and August graduates filed with Miss West. Melaas and Isaacson put up a good battle in our game against Roosevelt. February 5 Curtain goes up on Arsenic and Old Lace. Won't North miss such stars as Maureen McMillan, Bill Burgett and Kurt Werner? February 7 Things really happened. Swimming ........,... North vs. East Wrestling ...... North vs. D. M. Tech Basketball. . . ....... North vs. East February 9 Norman Linn elected president of Hi-Y. February 10 First meeting of the N Club. February 11 District wrestling tournament. February 13 Beginning of salt water taffy sales. All seniors without false teeth enjoyed it. February 14 Student Council induction assembly. Norman Linn, President: Iim Sayler. Vice President: Io Ann Smothers, Secretary: and Max Isaacson, Treasurer. Everyone agrees this is a swell group of officers. February 17 Senior meeting held in auditorium. We see a picture of exciting days ahead. Senior officers nominated. February 25 Senior officers installed. February 27 Baseball begins-hooray! Senior dues paid to class treasurers. Everyone goes broke. Seniors doing unsatisfactory work reported to Mr. Thompson. The long awaited Booster Show finally here. Good show-good March 3 March 4 crowd. March 9 Basketball-North vs. Roosevelt. March 10 Senior Party. Everyone dresses as hillbillies, featuring the Scragg family-Norman L., Don P.. Paul S., W. Tjaden, Kurt W., I. Saylor. March 13 Senior activity sheets filed in Oracle room. Our seniors certainly took part in a lot of things. This means more work for the Polar Bear staff. March 17 Deadline for senior glosses changed to March 31. It takes so long to photograph such beautiful faces. March Z4 All School Fun Night P.T.A. Incidentally, Sam stands for Iim Saylor and Sammie, Sally McGlothlen. April 6 School closes at regular closing time in afternoon for spring vacation.
