North High School presented Rebel Without a Cause as the first theatrical production of the 1968-1969 season. The play centers around two teenagers, Jim Stark and Judy Brown, and their search for a new set of values and real meaning in life. Both become involved in complicated situa- tions, and must face alone the difficult task of deciding what is right and what is practical. There is great emotional tension throughout, giving the play extra impact on the audience. Under the direction of Mr. Faist, the play was presented on three separate platforms. Lighting was used to give the ap- pearance of three different settings. IQ ,N I Mr. Faist transforms Paul Clinton into a middle-aged father.
