You mean we have to make 500 more of these? I thought we were through. This comment was desperately made while the A.W.S. was preparing for Blossom Day. 1 This year the Associated Women Students became an important factor in our campus life. The girls' president, Connie Town- send, expertly guided many ac- tivities during the year. Special- izing in welfare work, the AWS sponsored Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for the needy, this activity turned out to be suc- cessful beyond the group's high- est hopes. Also, the AWS pro- vided a spaghetti feed for fresh- man girls during the second week of school as a form of getting the freshmen better ac- quainted.
