A Keen competition for first place in the pinata competition highlighted the annual Xmas fiesta of Los Lucientes Del Norte. 304121195 The Spanish Club strives to promote a better understanding of language and in this way, a Mr' Wah Pederson better understanding of nations. Several activi- Mrs. Mello Barr CO-Advisor ties were enioyed by the club and among these CO,AdV,SO, was their annual initiation party to introduce new members. Also, there was the Xmas pifiata party, the annual awards banquet in the spring, and a dance after the NH-EB basketball game. The Spanish Club handled a candy and gum football concession. One of this group's con- tinuous proiects is corresponding with students from Spanish-speaking countries, a project which has proven to be informative as well as en- riching.
