WWW WW The first social event of the school year is the traditional Welcome Whirl, given in honor ofthe enter- ing freshmen. Darryl Moore and Carol Keene are shown at far left while others are pictured enioying the dancing. A K A Ken Shelton and Sharon Johnson, voted as 1957 King and Queen of Hearts, captured the spirit of Valen- tine's Day for students at North High. The contest and party ar- rangements were taken care of by the Spanish Club, under the direc- tion of Mr. Walter Pederson.
