The North High School Stars 'football team won their tirst championship this year. The team. backed by the student body and coached by head coach Eliades and assist- ant coach Allen, proved themselves a winning team most ot the year. The only games lost were to Shatter and Avenal. The Stars lost no league games. They are the l955 Sierra League champions, having won their tilt with Parlier. Next year the team moves up into higher competition and will be playing East Balcerstielcl, Arvin, Tatt and Delano. Coach Aubrey Allen and Head Coach Turk Eliades watch a practice session.
