IM MEMORIAM Colonel Fredrick Singleton Lucas Price. Colonel Price was the youngest son of the late Honorable and Mrs. Wm. P. Price of Dahlonega. He attended the North Georgia Agricultural College, which had been founded by his father, and was graduated with an A.B. degree. He was appointed a Second Lieu- tenant in the Regular Army bv President McKinley. while less than twenty-one years of age. He served in the following wars: Spanish- American. Mexican Uprising, Philippine Rebellion. Boxer Lprising in China, and the World War. At the time of his death. Colonel Price was the commanding officer of the National Guard units in the Fourth Corps Area, and it was through his efforts that the Dahlonega Chapter of the Reserve Officers Association was established. With his passing the Army of the L nited States loses a most efficient officer; Dahlonega loses one of her most distinguished citi- zens; his Alma Mater loses one of her greatest sons; and the Sigma Nu Fraternitv loses a highlv respected brother.
