In the performance of this duty, it has rendered many worthwhile services to the students. Members direct traffic in the halls, sponsor many dances and programs, present a yearly gift to the school, and super- vise school elections. Each homeroom elects a representative to the S tudent Council. The officers, President, Vice -President, S e c re t a ry, and Treasurer are elected by the student body each spring. The National Honor Society contributes worthwhile service to the school. Membership in it is one of the highest honors conferred by North Davidson High.
