I2 CDP' Hlasscs Our Story As sophomores we, The Class of 1959, fxrst enter ed the glass doors to begm our 11fe here at North Carroll H1gh School Now we look back wlth prlde on the three short years wh1ch have passed s1nce that memorable day Our sophomore year was one of adjustment, to new faces places, and exper1ences After we met and began to know our new classmates and teachers, we settled down for a year of hard work Decxdxng the course we would follow for the rest of our h1gh school career was one of the many problems that we faced and solved But all was not work, we helped our school, our teams and sponsored our f1rst dance, The Sophomore Hop Teamwork began to show the followlng year Dances bake sales, and the sale of Chr1stmas candles were some of our extra curr1cular proJects Varxous clubs and school act1v1t1es rounded out ayear f1lled wlth much act1v1ty Once aga1n we stud1ed d1l1gently, for th1s was the year that we were to recexve our school rxngs How anx1ously we walted for that day to arr1ve' But the most memorable event was to come, day of our Jumor and Semor Prom In an Underwater Wonderland we ended a crowded yet happy year So soon we end the f1nal year of our serv1ce to North Carroll Hxgh School Proudly, we have held offlces and lead teams to v1ctory Successfully we have sponsored dances skatmg part1es andbakc sales Eagerly, we have been leaders 1n clubs and act1v1t1es Th1s year has been f111ed w1th thoughts of college and vocat1ons We have stud1ed and planned for our future wxsely Soon Class N1ght, Baccalaureate and Gradua tlon w1ll be behlnd us and we w1ll depart through the glass doors that we entered just three short years ago We leave our beloved Alma Mater w1th the des1re to make the future as prosperous lf not more so, than the past l 4 7 .
