“David Turner The individual accolades poured in for State. In addition to Afejuku ' s selection as the ACC ' s Most Valuable Player, the Wolfpack also placed six members on the first two all- conference teams. Afejuku and Moneiedafe were named to the first team while Ogu, senior fullback Danny Allen, junior midfielder Jim Burman and midfielder Gerry McKeon were named to the second team. But there were many others that were instrumental in the continued improvement of State ' s soccer team. Joey Elsmore, Butch Barczik and goalies Tim Perry and Chris Hutson, to name a handful, contributed greatly to a team that came very close to receiving its first NCAA playoff bid. 138/Sports ”
